In July, I had the honor to present my Bachelor’s thesis in the final round of the NET Competition at CERGE-EI (Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education – Economics Institute), a joint workplace of Charles University and the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences, in Prague.

After my participation at the New Economics Talent (NET) competition in Prague, I gave an interview for the blog of CERGE-EI. It is online now.

I am pleased that the selection committee invited me. This was my first real academic presentation, and I truly appreciate the feedback from the final round committee consisting of Professors Randall Filer (Hunter College), Gérard Roland (Berkeley) and Filip Matějka (CERGE-EI). I am happy that I had the chance to meet Jerry Ding (LSE) and Kyung Woong Koh (Yonsei University), two graduate students, at the competition, and to meet CERGE-EI staff and students at their splendid ceremony.
